Laser Marking Solution
The LaserMarking Solution of Koenig & Bauer marks wires from 3 – 16 mm (0.11 – 0.62″) outer diameter, is compatible for in-line marking with Schleuniger cut & strip machines.
Laser marking eliminates the need for consumables such as ink, solvent, and marking foil. Text, logos, 1D and 2D barcodes, times, dates, and even consecutive serial numbers can be marked along the entire length of a wire or cable. The cables are positioned and lasered automatically, preventing placement errors.The LaserMarkingSolution can be integrated into Schleuniger’s cut & strip machines as an in-line wire and cable marking workstation. The system is controlled using Schleuniger’s CAYMAN cable processing software and the CAYMAN Device Connector extension.Laser marking is ideal for wires and cables that cannot be marked using other methods. The high-contrast mark is not removable and is resistant to water, chemicals, abrasion, heat, cold, and UV radiation.
