Harness Machines

Omega 740 S

The Omega 740 S/750 S wire assembly machine is particularly efficient with a speed of 1.2 s per insertion when inserting on both sides.

Compared to the Omega 740/750, the Omega 740 S/750 S is equipped with a second insertion head and can therefore also be equipped with six (Omega 740 S) or ten (Omega 750 S) modules in order to achieve the best results for specific applications and be adapted to the desired assembly process. The further development of the S series enables even shorter lead times and is therefore more economical. Processing is possible for wire cross-sections of 0.13– 1.5mm² (AWG 26–16). Feeding also takes place via a carousel with pallets, which also enables the insertion of miniaturized components. The wire assembly machine offers continuous, operator-independent quality.

Two fast insertion grippers for short and long wires

The automatic insertion grippers precisely position the wire, monitor the insertion force throughout the entire process and check for correct clamp locking.

Versatile wire selection of up to 36 different wires

Automatic wire selection provides up to 36 wires drawn from the entire range of cross-sections. This covers, for instance, the wide variety of control cabinet designs.

Three pairs of blades with optional ACD incision monitoring

The already integrated three-blade pairs with optional incision monitoring (ACD) cover a cross-section range of 0.13 to 1.5 mm² (AWG 26–16).

Special untwisting module to untwist wires

Unspooled wires always have a twist. The untwisting module removes the twist from the wires, which is important for subsequent fully automatic insertion.

Integrated wire storage for more efficient production

Two-sided wire harnesses with a high level of complexity can be easily produced with the help of the wire storage. It also enables immediate post-production re-working of faulty wires.
