WDT UP65 Hydraulic Crimping Press offers even more power for processing loose electrical contacts of up to 400 mm².

The compact machine is designed without compromise and includes a newly developed, integrated hydraulic unit. It saves space, is quiet and can be installed easily. The UP 65 has advantages in many areas when compared to standard eccentric presses (space requirements, quietness, user-friendliness, accuracy, flexibility, fitting time and others).

Thanks to the integrated hydraulic unit and operation with conventional 220 V/240 V power (110 V/120 V), the UP 65 can be used anywhere and at any time as a universal plug-and-play solution.

As with all WDT crimp machines, findings from long-term industrial use are taken into account for the modern, ergonomic design. The 10° inclination on the machine allows for an ergonomic seating position and a clear view of the working area. Thanks to the integrated LED light source, the working area is always optimally illuminated. Productivity is increased and operation is simplified through the use of the safety foot pedal, as the hands are then always free to insert the contacts, strands and other materials. The possible causes for errors during operation are then consistently prevented as early as the development phase.

With the high crimp force of 150 kN and wide range of special applications (which can be exchanged in a matter of seconds thanks to the quick-release adapter), the UP 65 is optimally prepared for growing requirements – such as large cross-sections on battery cables for electric and hybrid vehicles. Individual solutions from a single source can also be realised quickly and easily through the in-house design and production of die prototypes.

The adjustable return height means that the working cycle can be adjusted according to the size of the application. This reduces the time and energy consumed per cycle and thus enables more cost-effective operation.

The basic data and operating data are protected by a key switch and allow the process to be tailored optimally to the respective application before being saved. The installed memory module allows the supervisor to store 30 different programs.

As the tool holder on the machine can be adjusted simply, the machine is also suitable for other areas of application outside crimp technology.

The WDT UP65 Hydraulic Crimping Press corresponds to EC Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2) and is CE compliant.

All EHC 10 dies (with the EHC 10 adapter) and round dies (with the U Die adapter) can be used in the basic machine for a range of standard and special applications.

Special adapters can also be used for dies from other manufacturers on request.
