The programmable thermal transfer printer TTP 5000 marks wires and cables from 2 until 16 mm (0.08 – 0.63″) outer diameter. It is used especially in series production.

The TTP 5000 thermal transfer wire marking device combines thermal transfer and hot stamping marking techniques to guarantee abrasion-resistant markings. In the printing process, the thermal foil with only the printing elements is prepared and hot-stamped onto the wire or cable.It prints barcodes, logos, texts, graphics, and 2D codes on different insulation types in black and white. Due to its ability for circumferential marking, it can print on the entire outer diameter of the cable, which has a positive effect on font sizes and thus the legibility of text and other elements. If required, print can also be applied to several positions on the wire.The TTP 5000 is used especially in series production and is compatible as an in-line solution with automatic wire processing machines.
